WHO ARE WE AND WHY THIS BLOG?
We are passionate about discoveries, whether through our travels, our escapades or our new culinary experiences at home, at the restaurant or at the local cafΓ©.
We do not claim to have any particular expertise, but we are true epicureans who like to share. Outside of our professions, our lives are punctuated by the taste for new experiences, from the simple recipe for a cocktail in a new book to trying a Michelin-starred restaurant on vacation. Having both passed the age of fifty, we seek above all quality and the extraordinary rather than quantity. Although budget is always an important consideration, it is not the main criterion. For example, when it comes to dining, we favor an extraordinary culinary experience at a fair price rather than an acceptable meal at the lowest possible price.
We have enormous respect for authors, chefs, staff and owners of establishments, as well as for all those who make their profession and their life a source of enrichment for others through unforgettable experiences. This is why we decided to share positive experiences that make us happy, leaving disappointments far behind us, thus preferring to give a second chance to the actors of these experiences.
We hope that this site will bring you a little pleasure, and we would be delighted to discuss with you, our readers, your experiences and your disappointments. Do not hesitate to comment and write to us. The only mandatory ingredient is respect.
